  • The Michael C. Carlos Museum expansion, designed by Michael Graves, was completed in 1993 and is located on the historic quadrangle. The museum houses the largest collection of ancient art in the Southeast and maintains collections of Classical, Ancient Egyptian, Near Eastern, Ancient
    American, African, and Asian art, as well as a collection
    of works on paper from the Renaissance to the present.
