Georgia Institute of TechnologyYellow Book: Campus Design Guidelines Update LOCATION PROJECT SERVICES PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS The current edition (June, 2009) was the starting point for revisions. Updates and revisions are based on current rules and regulations for stormwater management, erosion control, NPDES stormwater permitting, and current Minimum Technical Standards for Surveying in the State of Georgia. In addition, all sections were updated to provide guidance directed at attaining the LEED Gold target for both new building construction (NC) and interior renovations. The organization and numbering system for the existing Yellow Book is loosely based on the 1995 CSI Master Format system. The revised standards follow the content organization and numbering conventions of the 2004 CSI Master Format system. Specific services provided by Travis Pruitt & Associates entailed developing the sections related to surveying, earthwork, stormwater management, utilities systems, pavements for streets and parking lots, and erosion control, including LEED guidance. TPA also provided input on the sections developed by the architect and the M/E/P engineers that have components overlapping survey, site infrastructure and erosion control.
