PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
This Active Adult community of 46 acres will have over 850 homes when completed. The 21,000 sf amenity center includes clubhouse, pools, lakeside pavilion, playground, tennis courts and ball courts. The Ammenity Annex has 15 boat slips and a lakeside pavillion with fire pit, patio and restrooms.
TPA prepared construction plans and designed 7.8 miles of two-lane urban streets and 2.0 miles of urban collector streets with curb, gutter and sidewalks, longitudinal storm sewers, culverts, and detention and treatment systems.
The firm coordinated utility design and prepared the erosion, sedimentation and pollution control plans in accordance with NPDES permit requirements. TPA also provided environmental assessment and permitting services which included reviewing a delineation of waters and wetlands within the proposed project site by others and consulting with the client on permitting with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers.
TPA advised the client to use bottomless arches instead of piping streams in order to avoid an Individual Section 404 Permit.
